Our accountability standard
Humanitarian trust depends on more than good intentions. Projects should be documented clearly enough for supporters, communities and partners to understand what was planned, what was delivered and what evidence supports the reported outcome.
What strong project reporting should include
- Verified project location and community context.
- Problem addressed and intervention delivered.
- Implementation dates and delivery partners where applicable.
- Verified outputs such as infrastructure delivered, supplies distributed or people trained.
- Community feedback and evidence of use.
- Maintenance, follow-up or sustainability arrangements.
Safeguarding and dignity
Beneficiary stories and images should be used respectfully, with appropriate consent and without exploitative framing. Children and vulnerable people require particular care in public communications.
